We began with a vision.

Faithful Companions Pet Cemetery is a family owned and operated company, interested in partnering with you to provide you, your clients, and your patients with a quality, reliable and affordable service to meet pet’s end of life needs.

We were started in East Smithfield, Pennsylvania by Wayne McMichael over 30 years ago, and his son Al is our current owner/operator. Al’s daughter, Marissa, is our business manager and his son in law, Donnie, operates our Binghamton facility. Chris Bennett, who has been with us for over 20 years, is our Operations Manager and heads the team in our East Smithfield location. Our compassionate and professional staff, with over 75 years combined experience, treats each pet with the care and respect deserved.

We are licensed and certified in both Pennsylvania and New York to operate our 6 state of the art, environmentally safe crematories. We also offer two pet cemetery locations for private burial, the original location in East Smithfield, and Whispering Pines Pet Cemetery in Binghamton, NY, which is the final resting place of 1918 Kentucky Derby winner, Exterminator. Our goal is to offer you, your staff, and your clients all of the benefits and services of our long experience in this final chapter of your patient’s lives.
